Transguard Group is one of the biggest employers in the UAE. The company says it was set up in 2001 and has about 50,000 employees. If you have seen security guards, cash vans, cleaners or delivery riders in Dubai, there is a fair chance some of them work for Transguard.
What Transguard Does, And The Jobs That Come With It
- Security: guards, supervisors, control room and operations staff
- Cash Services: cash-in-transit crew, vault and processing staff
- Facilities Management: cleaners, technicians, engineers
- Workforce Solutions: staff placed with client companies in hospitality, aviation and logistics
- Delivery: motorbike riders
Head office is in Dubai, with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah.
Two Ways Transguard Hires
1. The careers site. Office, supervisor and specialist jobs are listed on careers.transguardgroup.com. Each listing has a reference number. When a job closes, the page says so clearly, so check that before you spend time on an application.
2. Open days. For large intakes, Transguard sometimes holds in-person open days and announces them in the news section of its own website. In August 2024, for example, it announced hiring of 1,000 motorbike riders, with open days at its Jebel Ali and Sonapur sites and a requirement of a UAE licence. That intake is over. We mention it so you know what a real Transguard announcement looks like: it is on transguardgroup.com, with dates, place and conditions.
If you see a “Transguard walk-in” on social media, look for the same announcement on the company’s website. If it is not there, do not go.
What The Listings Ask For
It varies a lot. A coordinator role in security services that we checked asked for three to five years in a similar job and GCC experience. Guard and rider roles ask for less education but may need a UAE licence or a security permit. Read the listing, not a summary of it.
Transguard does not publish salaries on most listings.
