This Privacy Policy explains how GluJob.com collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit https://glujob.com/, create or use a GluJob account, use GluJob Plus features, contact us, connect supported third-party services or use the comment feature.
It does not cover information you submit directly to an employer or another external website.
Who We Are
GluJob.com is an independent job-information publisher and career-support platform.
GluJob is not a recruitment agency and does not make hiring decisions on behalf of employers.

Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting, content-delivery, security, analytics and similar service providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, date and time, approximate country or region, cookie or device identifiers, diagnostic data and security events.
We use this information to deliver pages, protect the website, detect abuse, diagnose errors, measure performance, understand general audience activity and improve content and services.
Comments
If you submit a comment, WordPress may process the name, email address, comment text, IP address, browser user-agent and submission time needed to display, moderate and protect the comment system.
Your email address is used for administration and is not displayed publicly by the theme.
Your chosen display name and approved comment text may be visible publicly.
Comments may be checked by automated or manual spam-detection services.
If you opt in to save comment details, WordPress may store your name and email in browser cookies for convenience on a later comment.
If avatars or Gravatar are enabled, a privacy-preserving hash derived from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether an avatar exists.
Do not place a phone number, home address, CV, passport information, banking details or other sensitive data in a public comment. We may edit, reject or remove comments that contain personal data, spam, abuse, impersonation, unsafe links or unrelated material.
Information You Provide Directly
If you email us, we receive the sender address, message, subject and any information or attachments you choose to provide.
Please do not send job applications, passwords, OTPs, banking credentials or unnecessary sensitive documents by email.
GluJob does not process job applications on behalf of employers.
GluJob Accounts and Member Profiles
When you create or use a GluJob account, we may process information you provide such as your name, email address, preferred job role, preferred location or country, qualifications, experience, skills, career preferences and other profile information needed to provide account or career-support features.
If you use features such as Jobs for Me, CV Builder, cover-letter tools, AI-assisted career tools or Application Tracker, GluJob may process the information you enter, generate or upload in order to provide the requested service.
GluJob does not automatically submit a job application to an employer. Users remain responsible for reviewing vacancies, checking eligibility and submitting applications through the employer’s official application process.
GluJob Plus and Paid Memberships
GluJob may offer paid membership plans that provide access to additional career-support features.
Information associated with a paid membership may include your GluJob account, membership plan, subscription status, transaction reference, payment status, billing period, renewal information and cancellation status.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, such as Razorpay where displayed at checkout.
GluJob does not intentionally store your complete debit or credit card number, UPI PIN, banking password, CVV or payment OTP.
Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and security requirements.
We may use your account email address to send necessary membership messages such as payment confirmation, subscription activation, renewal, cancellation, account notices and service-related alerts.
Google Account and Gmail Application Tracking
GluJob Plus may offer an optional Gmail connection for Application Tracker.
Connecting Gmail is voluntary. The Gmail tracking feature is not enabled unless the user explicitly chooses to connect a Google Account and grants the requested permission through Google’s OAuth authorization process.
Gmail Permission Used
GluJob requests the following Gmail permission:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.metadata
This permission allows GluJob to access Gmail message metadata such as labels and message headers.
It does not allow GluJob to read the content of email message bodies.
GluJob does not use this permission to send emails from the user’s Gmail account.
What GluJob Checks
When Gmail Application Tracking is enabled, GluJob may check a limited recent or new Inbox metadata window.
GluJob uses signals such as sender, subject, date and related message metadata to identify recruitment-related updates that may correspond to jobs already saved in the user’s GluJob Application Tracker.
Examples of statuses that may be detected from available metadata include assessment invitations, interview invitations, job offers and not-selected updates.
GluJob does not automatically treat every email as a job-status update. Matching is limited to tracked applications and supported recruitment signals.
Gmail Information GluJob May Store
For a Gmail account connected to Application Tracker, GluJob may store the minimum information reasonably necessary to operate the feature, including:
• Connected Gmail address
• OAuth authorization information or tokens required to maintain the connection
• Sender of relevant matched emails
• Email subject
• Message date or time
• Gmail message identifier
• Related tracked job
• Detected application status
• Tracking or synchronization timestamps
Relevant matched tracking metadata may be retained for up to 180 days unless a longer period is required for security, legal compliance or resolving a user request.
OAuth tokens required to maintain a Gmail connection may be retained while the Gmail connection remains active. They are used only for the authorized Gmail tracking function.
Gmail Information GluJob Does Not Use for Application Tracking
For Gmail Application Tracking, GluJob does not use Gmail access to read or store:
• Email message bodies
• Email attachments
• Google Account passwords
• Gmail passwords
• Contacts
• Banking passwords or OTPs
• Unrelated email content for advertising or profiling
GluJob does not use the user’s Gmail account to automatically send emails or submit job applications.
Google User Data Use and Limited Use
Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide or improve the user-facing feature for which permission was granted, such as Gmail-based Application Tracking.
GluJob does not sell Google user data.
GluJob does not use Google user data for advertising, ad targeting, credit decisions or unrelated profiling.
GluJob does not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms or data brokers.
GluJob’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access to Google user data is limited to what is necessary to operate, secure, maintain and support the authorized GluJob feature.
Disconnecting Gmail and Revoking Google Access
Users can disconnect Gmail from GluJob Plus through the Application Tracker privacy and control options.
After Gmail is disconnected, GluJob will stop using the connection to perform future Gmail tracking.
Users may also revoke GluJob’s access from their Google Account security or connected-app settings.
Disconnecting or revoking Gmail access does not necessarily immediately remove previously stored application-tracking metadata. Relevant stored tracking metadata may remain for the retention period described in this policy unless the user requests earlier deletion and no legal or security reason requires continued retention.
Users may request deletion of stored GluJob account or Gmail-tracking information by contacting enq@glujob.com.
Automatic Application-Tracking Alerts
When Gmail Application Tracking identifies a supported update related to a tracked application, GluJob may update the user’s Application Tracker and send a notification to the email address associated with the user’s GluJob account.
These alerts are generated by GluJob and are not emails sent from the user’s connected Gmail account.
Automatic tracking does not guarantee that every employer email or hiring decision will be detected. Users should continue to review important communications from employers and official recruitment platforms.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
GluJob and its providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels or similar technologies for essential site functions, security, account sessions, comment preferences, audience measurement and, when advertising is enabled, ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention and measurement.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser.
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or personal-data processing, a consent message or consent management platform should provide choices and a method to change or withdraw them.
Analytics
GluJob may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand aggregated site usage.
These services may process device, browser, approximate location, page-view and interaction information under their own terms.
Analytics use may be limited according to consent choices and technical configuration.
Advertising and Google Services
Advertising may be enabled or disabled from time to time.
When Google advertising or another advertising provider is active, third-party vendors may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses and similar technologies as a result of serving or measuring ads on GluJob.
Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to GluJob or other websites.
You can manage personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center.
Google user data obtained through the Gmail API for GluJob Application Tracking is not used for advertising or ad personalisation.
We do not sell personal information for money.
Consent for Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
When Google publisher advertising products are used for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, GluJob should use a Google-certified consent management platform where required.
The consent interface should explain relevant vendors and purposes, record choices and allow consent to be withdrawn.
How Information May Be Shared
Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, content delivery, security, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, spam prevention, consent management and advertising.
Service providers may receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their service.
Google user data obtained through Google APIs is not sold to advertisers or data brokers and is not shared for advertising purposes.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal request, prevent fraud, protect users, investigate security incidents or protect GluJob and its services.
External Websites and Employer Application Pages
Job articles and member features may contain links to employer career websites, recruitment platforms and other external services.
Their content, availability, security and privacy practices are controlled by their respective operators.
GluJob does not control information users submit after leaving GluJob and visiting an external employer or recruitment website.
Review the destination’s privacy notice before submitting personal information.
Retention and Security
Server and security logs are retained according to operational and provider requirements.
Contact messages are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, document the communication, protect the service or meet legal obligations.
GluJob account, membership and career-support information may be retained while the user’s account or membership is active and afterward for a reasonable period needed for account support, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or dispute resolution.
Relevant Gmail Application Tracking metadata may be retained for up to 180 days as described above.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect stored information.
However, no internet transmission, software platform or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of personal information associated with their GluJob account by contacting enq@glujob.com.
A deletion request may include profile information, supported career-tool data and stored Gmail Application Tracking metadata.
Before processing a request, we may need to verify the identity or account ownership of the requester.
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, payment records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or enforcement of our terms.
Disconnecting Gmail alone stops future Gmail tracking but is separate from requesting deletion of previously stored GluJob account information.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
You may also have rights concerning targeted advertising or the use of cookies.
Users can choose whether to connect Gmail and may disconnect it at any time.

We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting.
International Processing
GluJob and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where the user is located.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards should apply to international data transfers.
Children’s Privacy
GluJob is intended for a general adult job-seeking audience and is not directed to children under 16.
We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 16.
A parent or guardian can contact us to request review or deletion of information believed to have been provided by a child.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when GluJob features, membership plans, integrations, service providers, advertising arrangements, legal requirements or data practices change.
The current update date appears at the top of this page.
Material changes affecting connected services or user data may also be communicated through the website, account interface or email where appropriate.
