Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) is hiring a Coordinator – Food Technology in Dubai to give technical and laboratory support to its high-volume food production.
The job needs a food science or food technology degree and five years of experience, three of them in the food industry. Applications close on 5 November 2026.
About The Role
The Food Technology Coordinator investigates technical problems in production, runs shelf-life studies and lab tests, trials new ingredients and suppliers, and trains production staff on food science basics.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Design experiments to solve technical problems and write scientific reports.
- Give quick technical support to kitchen production units.
- Coordinate shelf-life studies and physico-chemical testing.
- Trial alternate suppliers and new ingredients with Procurement.
- Keep the lab ready, with equipment calibrated and data accurate.
- Train production staff on food science fundamentals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent (mandatory); master's preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience, including 3 years in the food industry.
- Experience in product development, scale-up, plant trials and shelf-life studies.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality systems.
