Quality Control Role

You will support inspection and quality-control work for electrical and HVAC control panels. The scope includes checking physical assembly, wiring, installed components, control signals, testing records and corrective actions.

Coordination is part of the work when inspections involve electrical, HVAC, instrumentation or commissioning teams. Accurate records are also important because the inspector prepares and maintains inspection and test documentation.

Inspection And QC Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC control panels for correct assembly, wiring, labeling and component installation.
• Compare panel wiring with approved electrical and control schematics.
• Inspect MCBs, contactors, relays, terminals, transformers, controllers and VFD interfaces.
• Check cable termination, ferruling, gland installation and cable identification.
• Verify input and output points and control signals against approved drawings.
• Prepare and maintain ITRs, inspection checklists, test reports and other QC records.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate the required corrective actions.
• Work with electrical, HVAC, instrumentation and commissioning teams.

Education And Experience Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering is required.
• You must be able to read and interpret electrical and control drawings and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of electrical control wiring, panel components and testing procedures is required.
• Good documentation and communication skills are expected.
• Previous work with HVAC control panels or electrical control panels is preferred.
• GCC or Qatar experience and a relevant QC or inspection certification are considered advantages.
