How GluJob Verifies Every Job

Fake Gulf job offers cost people lakhs of rupees every year. Before we publish a job, we check that it comes from the real employer and that you can apply for free. This page explains exactly how.

Official sources onlyNo fees, everChecked against official sources

What we check before publishing a job

  1. The source is the real employerWe find the job on the company's own careers website, its official LinkedIn or social page, or a hiring poster the company published itself.
  2. The apply link or email belongs to the companyAn email like careers@company.ae must match the company's own website domain. We do not publish jobs that ask you to apply to a Gmail or WhatsApp number we can't link to the company.
  3. The job is still recentWe note the posted or closing date from the employer. Jobs are listed for up to 28 days unless the employer gives a closing date.
  4. Nobody asks you to payIf a job asks for a registration fee, visa fee or deposit, we don't publish it. Real employers don't charge for a job.
  5. The facts come only from the employerSalary, requirements and dates are copied from the official source. If the salary isn't stated, we write "Not disclosed". We never guess it.
We publish
  • Jobs from official company careers sites and ATS portals
  • Hiring posters from a company's own verified social pages
  • Walk-in interviews with a clear date, time and venue
  • Jobs open to expats and people applying from India
We don't publish
  • Jobs that ask for any fee or deposit
  • "Visa for sale" or free-visa offers
  • Agency posts we can't trace to a real employer
  • Jobs only for UAE, Saudi or other nationals
  • Old jobs re-posted as new

Why I started GluJob

In 2020 I worked in the marketing and recruitment team of a recruitment agency in Kochi. What I saw there is the reason GluJob exists.

Candidates came to us through newspaper and social media ads, full of hope. Many paid large fees, and the jobs they got were not the jobs they were promised. Some went to the UAE and other Gulf countries and spent months with no job, no room and no food, then came home with help from strangers. Their fees were never refunded. Others ended up in labour camps, working 12 to 16 hours a day, and stayed for years only to repay the loans they took back home.

I also saw ads that called 100 to 500 people for "interviews". Most of them were "selected" and sent for paid medical tests, where the agency and the medical centre both made money. Nursing students from Kochi to Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram were asked for ₹1.5 lakh to ₹5 lakh in fees, with promised salaries of ₹1.5 to ₹2.5 lakh a month that they never received. When complaints come, such agencies often close within a year or two and open again under a new name.

Before this, I ran tech and automobile YouTube channels. They earned money, but they didn't change anyone's life. With GluJob, people find real jobs and avoid losing their savings. The site earns from Google ads, and job seekers never pay us anything. That's why I chose this work.
