About the Role

Based in the Customer Development department, the job combines customer planning with commercial performance across assigned Modern Trade accounts. You will support the Modern Trade Manager while tracking customer turnover, volume, promotional investment and profitability targets.

Commercial planning covers promotional intensity, activation scheduling, bottom-up planning and trade-investment optimization. TTS control and approved budget limits are also part of the account-management scope.

Key Duties

  • Support the Modern Trade Manager in tracking and delivering customer turnover, volume, promotional investment and profitability targets.
  • Develop and maintain customer activity calendars, promotional agreements, assortment plans, innovation listings, activations and distribution tracking.
  • Manage GRV processing, returns, reconciliations, payment follow-ups and claims resolution with Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Drive Perfect Store execution across assigned accounts, including on-shelf availability, display, share of shelf, pricing compliance and the 6Ps framework.
  • Conduct regular store and market visits to assess execution, find gaps, review cabinet availability and capture competitor activity.
  • Coordinate freezer, chiller and POSM deployment while monitoring execution performance across the assigned store estate.
  • Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales and spend trackers, flag variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support bottom-up planning, TTS control, promotional intensity, activation scheduling and trade-investment optimization within approved budgets.

Who Can Apply

  • Experience in ice cream, frozen foods, chilled or dairy categories.
  • Exposure to joint business planning, promotional planning, assortment management and trade-spend management.
  • Experience using Nielsen, IRI, EPOS data or retailer POS portals.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Urdu or Malayalam as a required additional language.
  • A valid UAE driving licence.

  • Strong numerical and analytical capability.
