Aramco accepts applications through its official careers portal. Job seekers can search by keyword and location, but they should first choose the correct route for Saudi or international applicants.
The international route generally targets experienced professionals. The official career pages do not publish fixed salary figures for these roles.
Choose The Correct Applicant Route
Aramco separates applications based on the applicant category. The requirements shown for experienced Saudi applicants differ from the general guidance for international candidates.
| Applicant Route | Official Guidance |
|---|---|
| Experienced Saudi applicants | More than three years of work experience. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher, or a full-time diploma degree. |
| International applicants | Aramco generally seeks candidates with five to 10 years of applicable experience. |
Experienced Saudi applicants can find work areas such as engineering, geology, information technology, marketing and human resources. International career areas include engineering, geosciences, drilling, research and development, education, finance, law and administrative work.
What International Applicants Should Expect
The international route is mainly designed for people who already have substantial relevant experience. Official job searches have included specialist, engineering, consulting and legal positions, but individual listings can change.
Read each official job description before submitting a CV. The general experience guidance does not replace the qualifications and skills stated for a particular role.
How The Application Process Works
The process starts by submitting a CV through Aramco’s career system. If the applicant’s skills match a need, Aramco may ask them to complete an Application for Employment.
Candidates who progress may be interviewed by technical representatives. Interviews can take place in London, Houston or Singapore, at a recruitment event, or by video conference.

Relocation And Work Locations
Aramco says its Saudi operations are centered in Dhahran. It also has production and research facilities in other parts of Saudi Arabia, including Thuwal and Shaybah.
After an offer has been accepted, a Relocation Advisor helps with medical checks, background checks, visas, flights and other relocation requirements. Aramco also states that it supports international employees with visa and residence-permit processing, as well as airport arrival assistance in Saudi Arabia.
Educational services for employees’ dependents are available through Aramco’s international schools program. Job seekers should not assume that every position has identical terms, and should rely on their formal offer for role-specific details.
Recruitment Payment Safety
Aramco states that it does not request fees at any stage of recruitment. Applying is free, and no applicant should pay a person or agency for an Aramco job.
