RAK International Airport Careers And Applications

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport publishes job openings through its careers page and a linked applicant portal. Each portal listing gives the duties and entry requirements for that position.

The work shown there covers airport operations, ground handling, engineering and commercial development. Some customer-service positions are restricted to UAE Nationals, so applicants should check the eligibility line carefully.

How Applications Are Handled

The official careers page directs candidates to the airport’s applicant portal. Openings can change, so use the portal to confirm which positions are available and whether your education, licence and experience match the listed requirements.

The airport says employees receive a full benefits package and ongoing training. It does not give further benefit details on its careers page.

What The Airport Roles Involve

Recent portal examples show that requirements vary widely. The Passenger Service Agent listing was open when checked and marked UAE National. Its duties included check-in, boarding, baggage, ramp work, passenger assistance and safety tasks.

That passenger-service position required graduation, fluent written and spoken English, and at least one year of aviation or customer-service experience. Airline or hospitality experience was preferred.

Equipment Operator applicants needed fluent English, a valid UAE driving licence and at least one year of driving experience. Experience in logistics, transport, aviation or another 24-hour operation was preferred.

More senior operational work has stricter conditions. The OCC Controller description required at least 10 years of aviation experience and three years in load control. Its work covered aircraft movement records, resource allocation, operational coordination and emergency response.

Technical work includes servicing and repairing ground-support equipment and vehicles. The GSE Mechanic description required higher-secondary education, two years of mechanical training or apprenticeship, and at least four years of relevant experience.

Student And Graduate Internships

The internship programme is open to UAE citizens. Student placements last three to six months. Applicants must be enrolled at a university, provide a university request letter, have a GPA of at least 3.00 from an accredited UAE higher-education institution, and commit to the full placement.

Graduate internships can last from six months to one year and may be paid or unpaid. Graduate applicants must be aged 18 to 30, hold a certificate, diploma or degree, communicate in English, and be willing to learn and adapt.

Placement departments may include IT, Finance, HR, Engineering, Commercial, Ground Handling, Operations, Safety, Security, Quality and Cargo.

Check Any Contact Carefully

The airport says it does not request money or bank-account details before employment. It also says job offers are not made without an in-person interview at the airport office.

Applying is free. Nobody should ask you to pay for an airport job or interview.
