Main Responsibilities
- Complete accident-related body repairs, including dismantling, panel repair or replacement, dent removal, preparation, alignment, and vehicle reassembly.
- Use drills, grinders, sanders, dent pullers, welding equipment, chassis benches, and measuring systems safely where qualified.
- Follow OEM repair manuals, approved repair methods, material identification requirements, and corrosion-protection procedures.
- Check panel fitment, dimensional accuracy, repair quality, and readiness for the next repair stage.
- Identify supplementary damage and report it to the Supervisor, Estimator, or Service Advisor.
- Maintain work bays, tools, and personal protective equipment in line with 5S and HSE standards.
- At Junior Level, support dismantling, basic panel work, preparation, and reassembly under supervision.
- At Senior Level, lead structural repairs, chassis straightening, OEM-approved welding and bonding, and mentor junior technicians.
Qualifications And Technical Requirements
You need a Trade Certificate, ITI, Vocational Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Auto Body Repair, Panel Beating, or Collision Repair Technology.
- Senior candidates must be skilled in panel replacement, structural alignment, chassis measuring and pulling systems, and approved welding processes.
- Relevant OEM bodyshop, I-CAR, welding, STRSW, or aluminium-repair certifications are highly preferred for senior applicants.
- Multi-brand experience is an advantage at Senior Level, particularly experience with European premium vehicles.
- Previous GCC or UAE bodyshop experience is preferred.
- Basic English communication is required.
