Role Within Cargo And Airport Operations

Main Maintenance Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Ground Support Equipment and fleet vehicles.
- Identify faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, brake and air-conditioning systems, then complete the necessary repairs.

- Support the Workshop Supervisor when inspecting completed maintenance actions.
- Use drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and technical publications during maintenance.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, tool control and safety standards in the workshop.
- Provide technical reports on maintenance work.
- Support improvements to maintenance processes.
Qualification And Safety Requirements
Qatar Airways provides two routes for meeting the education and experience criteria. You must also hold a driving licence and be able to complete the required safety training.
- High School Qualification with at least two years of job-related experience; or
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with at least one year of job-related experience.
- A valid home-country or local driving licence.
- Ability to obtain the Workshop Safety Awareness Course.
- Ability to obtain the Ramp Safety Awareness Course.
- Ability to obtain the Basic Airside Driving Course.
