What You Will Do At The Airport
Your work will cover passenger movement and transport support across airport premises. It involves driving duties, direct passenger assistance and accurate communication with the shift in charge.
- Drive heavy and light passenger transportation vehicles within airport premises.
- Transport passengers, airside employees and hand baggage according to assigned tasks.
- Assist passengers with special needs and help with baggage loading and unloading.
- Maintain accurate driver manifests and records for completed transportation tasks.
- Carry out vehicle pre-checks and report defects or incidents.
- Keep assigned vehicles safe, clean and presentable.
- Follow airport driving procedures, safety requirements and vehicle regulations.
- Report transportation issues and task updates to the shift in charge.
Licence And Work Requirements
A home-country Heavy licence is required for this position. You must also be able to obtain the local licences and airport driving approval needed for the work.
- Ability to obtain a Qatari Heavy Vehicle Licence.
- Ability to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).
- Knowledge of safe traffic law.
- Availability for shift-based work totalling 48 hours each week.
