Job Summary

Main Responsibilities

Your work will cover field-support processes for traffic management and intelligent transportation systems. The responsibilities combine technical review, documentation, coordination and compliance oversight.

• Develop, review and maintain procedures, method statements, maintenance protocols, testing protocols and standard operating procedures for field equipment.
• Review installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning work against approved standards, designs, RFCs and as-built documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to field and maintenance teams.
• Review controller configurations, signal phasing and timing, detector settings and other controller parameters.
• Assess monitoring and performance data from central management systems and dashboard platforms.
• Support the planning, coordination and tracking of field activities and work orders.
• Review technical submittals, drawings, test records and commissioning documents from contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare procedural documents, technical reviews, progress reports and quality reports.
• Support quality-control and HSE compliance while working with operators, contractors, consultants and equipment suppliers.

Systems Knowledge And Desired Credentials

Parsons is seeking practical knowledge across the equipment, software and electrical systems used in traffic-signal and ITS field installations. The relevant technical areas include:

• Traffic controllers, cabinets, detection systems, communications equipment and CCTV/ELV systems.
• Central management, monitoring, ATMS or network-management software and performance dashboards.
• DC and AC power, UPS and battery systems, solar backup, and grounding or earthing for field installations.
• The development and review of technical procedures, testing methods and maintenance documentation.
• Clear procedural, technical and quality reporting, supported by effective field-team coordination.

Arabic is considered an advantage. Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers and a valid Saudi driving licence are listed as desired skills.
