Operator Jobs At ADNOC: What The Roles Involve And How To Apply

Posted 25 Sep 2025Updated 26 Oct
ADNOC Operator Jobs

“Operator” is one of the most searched ADNOC job titles, but on ADNOC’s portal it is not one job. It covers very different work, from lowering tools into an oil well to running a fuel terminal or a crane. This page explains the operator roles ADNOC posts, which of its companies hire for them, and how to apply.

For the general rules on who can apply to ADNOC and how to spot fake offers, see our main ADNOC careers page.

Operator Roles On The ADNOC Portal

When we searched “operator” on jobs.adnoc.ae on 26 October 2026, these were among the results:

Advertisements
Role ADNOC Company What The Job Is (From The Post)
Operator, Slickline ADNOC Drilling (rigs) Raises and lowers downhole tools on a wire cable to test and maintain wells
Assistant Operator, Slickline ADNOC Drilling (rigs) Supports the slickline operator before and after each job
Operator (Bulk Product) ADNOC Drilling (rigs) Handles and stores the bulk products used in cementing
Senior Operator (Bulk Product) ADNOC Drilling (rigs) Runs and monitors plant units to process, store and export product
Operator, Supply ADNOC Distribution (Abu Dhabi) Takes tank dips and meter readings, runs pumps and valves at a terminal
Operator, Crane ADNOC Logistics & Services (Abu Dhabi) Crane work for ADNOC’s maritime logistics arm

Jobs open and close all the time, so the list you see may be different. The point is the spread: rigs, terminals and ports all hire operators.

Who These Jobs Are For

These are not entry-level jobs. Each post asks for hands-on experience in the same kind of work, usually on rigs, in plants or at terminals, plus safety training. If you have worked as an operator for another oil and gas company or a drilling contractor, these are worth applying for. If you are new to the industry, you will find it very hard to get in this way.

Many rig and offshore roles also mean rotation work away from the city. Read the location line in each post (“Rigs”, “Offshore Islands”, “Ruwais”) before you apply.

Salary

ADNOC does not show salaries on its job posts, and we won’t guess. Any number you see on social media for “ADNOC operator salary” is not from ADNOC.

How To Apply

  1. Go to jobs.adnoc.ae and search “operator”, or a more exact title like “slickline” or “crane”.
  2. Open each job and check the company and location. ADNOC Drilling, ADNOC Distribution and ADNOC Logistics & Services are separate businesses with their own work sites.
  3. Create a profile and apply online with your CV. ADNOC says it cannot reply to every applicant, so no answer usually means you were not shortlisted.

Never Pay For An ADNOC Job

Real ADNOC emails come only from @adnoc.ae addresses, and ADNOC never asks for money for a visa, permit or travel. If someone offers you an ADNOC operator job for a fee, it is a scam.
