Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) is hiring a Light Duty Driver in Dubai to deliver meals, catering items and equipment to airports and city locations, including carrying meal containers onto aircraft.
The job needs a high school certificate and a UAE light vehicle licence held for at least two years. Driving experience limited to passenger cars is not accepted.
About The Role
Drivers keep EKFC's catering moving between its kitchens, Dubai's airports and city sites. The work includes short-notice runs, airside driving and careful handling of food and equipment, so punctuality and a clean driving record matter.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver meals, catering items and equipment to airports and city locations, including short-notice requests.
- Load, secure and unload items, and carry meal containers onto aircraft following handling procedures.
- Drive safely under UAE traffic law, airside rules and company transport policy.
- Carry out pre-trip vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
- Keep accurate trip logs, inspection checklists and delivery records.
- Report accidents, near misses, delays and route changes to your supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving Licence (Category 3) with manual transmission entitlement, held for at least 2 years.
- UAE Category 5 licence (minibus/bus up to 26 seats) is preferred.
- At least 2 years of UAE driving experience on light commercial vehicles such as panel or delivery vans.
- Knowledge of UAE roads and GPS navigation, and the physical ability to lift and carry items and use aircraft stairs.
- Willingness to work shifts.
