IKEA in the UAE is operated by Al-Futtaim, the Dubai group that also runs many car and retail brands in the region. Al-Futtaim says it employs more than 35,000 people in over 20 countries. So an IKEA job in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Al Ain is an Al-Futtaim job, with an Al-Futtaim contract.
Where The Vacancies Are
IKEA has one global jobs site, jobs.ikea.com, and the UAE roles are listed there with the store name in the title. You will see names like these:
- IKEA Dubai Festival City (DFC)
- IKEA Dalma, Abu Dhabi
- IKEA Al Ain
- IKEA RSO Jebel Ali (the regional office and distribution side)
What Kind Of Jobs Come Up
Store listings cover sales, customer service, interior design and visual display, food, and goods flow in the warehouse. The Jebel Ali office adds logistics and planning roles.
Requirements depend on the level. A recent Jebel Ali listing for a service fulfilment role in the routing team asked for two to four years in a management role in distribution, retail or logistics. Entry-level store roles ask for much less, but the listing is the only reliable guide.

- Read the full description. IKEA’s own advice on its listings is to read it carefully and send a CV written for that job.
- Press Apply and complete the form.
The listings say the team aims to review and respond to every application.
