Qatar Airways lists Hamad International Airport as one of its group companies. Vacancies connected with the airport are published through the Qatar Airways recruitment portal.
The portal covers general job searches, while the airport’s Graduate Developee Programme has its own eligibility rules. Applicants should check which route matches their situation before submitting an application.
Areas Of Work At The Airport
The official graduate programme shows the range of work carried out at Hamad International Airport. Its airport operations stream covers terminal operations, the Airport Operations Control Center, airfield safety, safety assurance and training.
It also includes emergency planning, wildlife and hazard management, baggage handling systems, security operations, and operational planning and commissioning.
Other programme streams cover:
- Projects and customer experience
- Logistics and maintenance projects
- Recruitment and employee services
- Training and development
- Property management
- Public relations, events, marketing, branding and promotions
- Information technology
How To Search And Submit An Application
The recruitment portal allows searches by job number, keyword, job field and location. Applicants can create an account or sign in, submit applications and track their submissions online.
The portal showed 23 results when it was checked for this research. That number can change, so copied vacancy lists may become inaccurate.
Who The Graduate Programme Is For
The Hamad International Airport Graduate Developee Programme lasts two to three years, depending on the chosen stream. This is a separate route with detailed entry conditions.
Applicants must be aged 19 to 28. They must hold an Airport Operations Management Diploma from Qatar Aeronautical College that was sponsored by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
The programme also lists English-language ability, CID clearance and medical clearance as requirements. Its official page gives separate academic and IELTS thresholds for Qatari applicants and applicants whose mother is Qatari.
Stated programme benefits include structured rotation and development, learning and development, a multicultural environment and growth opportunities. These statements relate to the graduate programme and should not be assumed to apply to every vacancy on the recruitment portal.
Check The Recruitment Contact
Qatar Airways says it does not charge recruitment fees, request a recruitment deposit or ask candidates to pay visa fees. It also says a job offer is not made without an in-person or video meeting.
Applying is free. Do not pay anyone who claims that money is required to secure an airport job.
