The Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board published this Guruvayur Devaswom notice on 29 March 2025. It covered 38 category numbers, from 01/2025 to 38/2025, but applications closed at midnight on 28 April 2025.
This is no longer an open vacancy notice. As of 10 October 2026, examinations had been held for several categories, and KDRB had published probability lists and short lists for parts of the recruitment.
Work Covered By The Notice
The notice included office, maintenance, technical, cultural, school and medical work. Examples were:
- Lower Division Clerk, L D Typist and Computer Operator/Data Entry Operator
- Helper, Sanitation Worker, Gardener, Cow Boy, Lift Boy and Room Boy
- Plumber, Assistant Lineman, Lamp Cleaner and Driver Grade II
- Veterinary Surgeon, Livestock Inspector Grade II and Medical Officer (Ayurveda)
- K.G. Teacher, Maddalam Player, Thalam Player and Krishnanattam Costume Maker Asan
- Computer Special Assistant and Deputy System Administrator
KDRB is a statutory body established by the Government of Kerala. It runs direct-recruitment processes for five Devaswom boards or committees, including the Guruvayur Devaswom Managing Committee.
Lower Division Clerk As An Example
Conditions differed by category. The Lower Division Clerk notification gave these specific terms:

Legally permitted age relaxations applied to reserved communities. The clerk notification also required applicants to belong to the Hindu religion and have faith in the Devaswom and temple customs. That condition should not be assumed for every post; each category notification must be checked separately.
How Applications Were Submitted
Applications were accepted online through the KDRB website after one-time registration. Applicants signed in with their user ID and password and used the official Apply Online option.
The examination fee was paid through the KDRB application portal and was non-refundable. Since the deadline has passed, the old notice should be used only to check the original conditions and recruitment record.
Exams And Published Lists
KDRB records show examinations for several categories between 13 July and 9 November 2025. The Lower Division Clerk OMR test took place on 13 July 2025, followed by a probability list dated 30 January 2026.
A Computer Special Assistant short list was dated 31 January 2026 and related to the OMR test held on 24 August 2025. That document listed a pay scale of Rs. 27,900–63,700 for the post.
