What The Job Involves
Working in the Maintenance department, you will install, service and repair HVAC equipment. The work covers fault diagnosis, planned maintenance, including compressor replacement, and cooling-system servicing.
Troubleshooting may involve electrical, mechanical, refrigerant and control-related faults. You will also handle the technical records connected with completed service and maintenance work.
Main Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair HVAC systems within GMG properties.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigerant and control-related faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance and replace compressors when required.
- Complete brazing, refrigerant charging and leak-testing work.
- Carry out control wiring and interpret HVAC control schematics.
- Service AHUs, FCUs, split AC units and other cooling systems.
- Maintain service records and follow QHSE policies and safety regulations.
Technical Requirements
GMG is seeking an experienced technician who can work with residential and commercial HVAC systems. Your technical background must cover the tools and documents used to inspect, diagnose and service this equipment.
- Ability to use gauges, multimeters and leak detectors.
- Ability to read HVAC blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
