Job Summary
Day-to-Day Change Assurance
Your work will cover IT changes involving internal IT functions and external vendors. The aim is to keep each change aligned with company policies, governance standards and ITIL practices.
Change requests must be assessed carefully before implementation. That includes checking their classification, risks, operational impact, testing evidence, approvals and implementation plans.
- Provide independent quality assurance over IT changes across all IT functions and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with IT Change Management policies, governance standards and ITIL best practices.
- Review change requests for categorization, risk assessment, impact analysis, testing, approvals and implementation planning.
- Confirm that rollback and back-out procedures are documented and tested when required.
- Monitor compliance with change approval authorities and escalation procedures.
- Audit change records for completeness, accuracy and compliance.
- Identify process gaps, control weaknesses and non-compliance issues, then recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure post-implementation reviews are completed and lessons learned are documented.
Technical And Governance Requirements
Alongside the degree, experience and certification criteria, flyadeal wants someone with a strong understanding of change processes in an ITIL-aligned environment. You must be comfortable reviewing controls, documentation and risk across the change lifecycle.
- Experience with IT service-management platforms such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Remedy or an equivalent platform.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, compliance reviews and process-governance activities.
- Strong analytical ability for assessing change records, controls and process performance.
- Clear reporting and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
