Main Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work covers technical-record management, data entry, document reconciliation, records archiving and technical reporting. Careful documentation is important because the controller must maintain clear records of maintenance activity, outstanding matters and any missing information.

• Control short-term planning data entry and the storage or archiving of related records.
• Store aircraft technical records in line with GCAA regulations and departmental KPIs.
• Reconcile aircraft maintenance paperwork under Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation procedures.
• Report missing or erroneous maintenance logs to the relevant line stations.
• Maintain a complete shift handover log covering events and outstanding issues.
• Follow Etihad processes and procedures so work is completed safely.
• Meet health and safety requirements and follow line safety rules.
• Implement Safety Management System processes and encourage the reporting of unsafe acts, conditions and risks.
• Follow the procedures in the Safety and Quality Management Manual.
• Meet the requirements of the Interface Procedures Manual and Technical Procedures Manual.
• Support investigations, projects and departmental activities.
• Help train company members to use Etihad IT systems.

Tech Data Controller Requirements

Etihad is seeking someone with aviation-maintenance knowledge and experience in an engineering or production setting. The work also requires familiarity with aviation regulations, safety systems and computer-based records.

• Knowledge of GCAA CARs, ICAO and IOSA aviation regulations.
• Knowledge of Safety Management Systems.
• Fluency in English.
• High computer literacy.
• Excellent reporting and writing skills.
• Ability to manage aircraft technical records, data entry, reconciliation and handover documentation.
• Completion of mandatory induction training under TPM 3.92 within six months of joining.
