Instructor Requirements Shown By EDI
When reviewed, the official page displayed two Light Vehicle Instructor listings. These are useful examples of the criteria EDI may publish, but job availability should always be checked on the employer’s site.
Job code 82 required a UAE driving licence held for at least three years and a Higher Secondary School Certificate. Applicants had to be 25 to 40 years old, speak Hindi or Urdu, have good written and spoken English, and hold a valid RTA teaching permit.
Job code 60 had the same licence duration, education, age, English and teaching-permit requirements. It asked for Russian-language ability instead of Hindi or Urdu.
The page also displayed a Motorcycle Riding Instructor role under job code 51. Its requirements included:
- A valid UAE motorcycle riding licence held for at least three years
- A UAE light motor vehicle driving licence
- An age of 25 to 40
- Hindi or Urdu language ability
- Good written and spoken English
- A valid RTA teaching permit
