Heavy Duty Hiab Driver Job at DSV in Abu Dhabi

DSV is hiring a Heavy Duty Hiab Driver for its transport operations in Abu Dhabi. The DSV Heavy Duty Hiab Driver will support daily transport work through vehicle operation, deliveries, documentation, customer service and supervision tasks.

You need matriculation or an equivalent education, a valid UAE driving licence and at least two years of heavy vehicle driving experience in the UAE or GCC. Applications are submitted through DSV’s official careers website.

Main Transport Responsibilities

• Keep the assigned vehicle properly maintained and report vehicle complaints to the supervisor and workshop team.
• Prioritize deliveries and suggest improvements to daily route plans.
• Report any damages, excesses or shortages identified during delivery.
• Handle customer complaints in a pleasant, non-confrontational manner and raise non-conformances when necessary.
• Complete trip sheets with the relevant information and submit them to the supervisor toward the end of each shift.
• Submit delivery notes to OCC within 24 hours of completing a delivery.
• Comply with applicable HSE requirements.
• Supervise distribution assistants and report misconduct to the supervisor.
• Observe traffic regulations while driving.
