dnata, the airport services company of the Emirates Group, is hiring a Flight Watch Agent for its airport operations control centre at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Diploma holders with 0–2 years of experience can apply, so this is a real chance to start an airport operations career in Dubai.
Job Summary
What a Flight Watch Agent Does
- Tracks flights on radar and talks to the Pilot-in-Command on VHF radio about weight & balance and fuel figures
- Follows the Emirates aircraft towing plan
- Supports flydubai operations, coordinating with the TCO and checking AMIS and DMIS
- Creates flights in DCS and DMIS (aircraft registration, gate) and handles special assistance and group seating as per IGOM
- Edits flight details before check-in opens and updates records after departure
- Monitors telex messages
Requirements
- Diploma with 0–2 years of experience, or 2–4 years of relevant experience with hands-on training
- Knowledge of airport systems such as DMIS, AACS, UFIS and DCS
- Good English (English Level 5 is an advantage)
- Ready to work in shifts
