Job Summary
Crisis Management Specialist Job Duties
Your work will cover crisis-management procedures, emergency exercises, operational coordination and preparedness resources. The responsibilities also extend to business continuity, health and safety, and the review of information gathered from drills and incidents.
- Assist with implementing and continuously improving crisis-management and emergency-response procedures.
- Plan and carry out emergency drills and exercises, then document their outcomes and lessons learned.
- Prepare and revise emergency-response manuals, checklists and contact lists.
- Coordinate contingency and emergency planning with internal operational departments.
- Analyze drill and incident data for after-action reviews, root-cause analysis and safety improvements.
- Maintain the readiness of the Crisis Management Center, including emergency equipment, supplies and documentation.
- Support health-and-safety initiatives covering crew wellness, hygiene and public-health compliance.
- Update, test and align business-continuity plans with organizational standards.
Knowledge, Skills And Language

- Knowledge of GACARs, IATA Standards and Recommended Practices, and ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.

- Knowledge of crisis management, emergency response and business continuity.
- Skills in emergency-response planning, risk management, regulatory compliance, and health and safety.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with close attention to detail.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
