About the Role
Based in the Simulation · University Level department, the job supports healthcare education through both educational and technical work. Its scope brings together clinical-skills learning, assessment activity, faculty support and simulation technology.
You will work with faculty, instructors and healthcare professionals to prepare realistic learning activities. The post also covers debriefing support, faculty training and the continued readiness of simulation spaces and equipment.
Key Duties
- Plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate simulation-based educational activities with faculty, instructors and healthcare professionals.
- Operate, program, prepare and troubleshoot high-fidelity patient simulators, manikins, task trainers, clinical equipment and related technologies.
- Set up simulation environments for clinical scenarios, practical teaching sessions, assessments, workshops and examinations.
- Support adult, paediatric, maternal, neonatal, emergency and critical-care simulation activities.
- Assist with procedural-skills training using clinical models and task trainers.
- Help faculty develop realistic scenarios covering clinical reasoning, communication, teamwork and patient safety, while also supporting debriefing.
- Support Standardized Patient activities, clinical-skills assessments and objective structured clinical examinations.
- Maintain, calibrate, clean, store and document equipment, consumables and simulation spaces.
- Coordinate equipment repairs, software updates and vendor support when needed.
Who Can Apply
- You need a strong clinical background and an understanding of patient assessment, clinical procedures, emergency response, patient monitoring and healthcare workflows.
- Hands-on experience with high-fidelity simulators, manikins, task trainers, patient-monitoring systems and clinical equipment is required.
