For faculty recruitment, requirements can be detailed. Depending on the post, CUD may consider academic rank, teaching experience, discipline or specialisation, research interests, recent publications, scholarly activity and experience supervising a thesis or dissertation.
The policy states that the minimum recruitment age is 18. It does not give one set of qualifications that applies to every vacancy, so applicants should rely on the description for the individual position.
Screening And Interviews
A selection committee handles recruitment. It includes the hiring manager and at least one other person. Human Resources and representatives from the relevant department may also take part where required.
Shortlisted candidates receive an interview invitation, a job description and information about the university. Interviews may be held virtually.
