About the Role

Key Duties

  • Assist the Resident Engineer with supervision of overground metro station construction.
  • Monitor contractor activities against approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedules.
  • Supervise civil, structural, architectural and MEP works connected with the stations.
  • Review construction methodologies and compliance with approved work procedures.
  • Coordinate site inspections and verify completed work against contractual requirements.
  • Ensure project quality management systems and inspection procedures are implemented.
  • Review and witness inspections, testing activities and material approvals.
  • Monitor non-conformance reports, corrective actions and close-out processes.
  • Promote site safety and monitor compliance with HSE plans, permit-to-work systems and Dubai and UAE regulations.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interfaces with neighbouring infrastructure packages.
  • Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, utility authorities and client representatives to resolve site issues.
  • Assist with contractor submissions, progress measurements, payment applications, variations, claims and contractual compliance.
  • Support testing and commissioning, integrated testing readiness, snagging, de-snagging and final acceptance inspections.
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly progress reports while maintaining project records.

Who Can Apply
