Experience Required For Specialist Posts
Requirements vary widely by position. One Business Development Engineer listing asks for at least three years of experience with Abu Dhabi construction companies, preferably MEP companies.
Substation leadership roles have stricter requirements. The Senior Project Manager example asks for 20 years of ADDC primary-substation construction experience, knowledge of ADDC/Taqa specifications and a civil engineering degree. An MSc in Management or PMP certification is an advantage. The Construction Manager example asks for at least 10 years of similar experience and a civil engineering degree.
Other examples include a civil QA/QC Engineer with at least eight years of UAE roads and infrastructure experience, and an ADNOC-approved lifting or mechanical engineer willing to work offshore. The Head of Oil & Gas example asks for at least 15 years of EPC management experience and ADNOC-approved project-management experience.
