“A job at DHL” can mean very different things. DHL Group works in more than 220 countries and territories and is split into separate businesses. In the UAE, three of them do most of the hiring, and the work in each is not the same.
| Business | What It Does | Typical UAE Roles |
|---|---|---|
| DHL Express | Door-to-door international courier | Couriers, drivers, customer service, operations agents |
| DHL Global Forwarding | Air and sea freight for companies | Freight coordinators, customs and documentation staff |
| DHL Supply Chain | Runs warehouses and transport for client companies | Warehouse operators, forklift drivers, supervisors |
Knowing this helps you search properly, and it helps in the interview when they ask why you applied.
Frontline Or Office
DHL’s careers site sorts jobs into Frontline, Office, and Students And Graduates. Courier, driver and warehouse jobs are Frontline. If you have a UAE driving licence or warehouse experience, start there.
How To Find UAE Jobs
- Open careers.dhl.com.
- Type “United Arab Emirates” or “Dubai” in the location search.
- Check the listing title. Some UAE roles are marked “UAE National” or “Emirati Nationals Only”. Those are reserved, so skip them if you are an expatriate.
- Open the job, read the requirements and apply online.

What To Expect From The Listings
Senior roles are demanding. One UAE Supply Chain sales manager listing we read asked for 10 to 15 years of logistics experience. Frontline listings ask for far less, usually the right licence, basic English and the ability to work shifts. Most listings do not show the salary.
You can set a job alert on the careers site for UAE roles, which is easier than checking every day.
