How We Check News

Gulf Job News on GluJob explains rule changes and news that affect people looking for work, or already working, in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This page explains how we prepare it.

Where the facts come from

  • Official sources first: government portals and ministries such as u.ae, MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, HRSD, Qiwa, Absher and the Saudi Press Agency, and the employer’s own website.
  • Established Gulf media (for example Gulf News, Khaleej Times, The National, Arab News and Saudi Gazette) only to support what an official source says, or when two of them report the same fact.
  • A number, date, fee or fine goes into a post only if we found it in a source. Every post lists its sources at the end.

How a post is made

We use software to spot what Gulf job seekers are searching for and to collect and draft the facts. A GluJob editor reads every draft, checks the sources and decides whether to publish it. Nothing is published automatically.

Updates and corrections

When an official announcement changes a detail, we update the same post and show the new “Updated” date. If you spot a mistake, write to us through the Contact page and we will correct it.

What we are not

GluJob is a free job information website. We are not a recruitment agency, visa agent or law firm, and our posts are general information, not legal advice. Never pay anyone a fee for a job.

Never pay money for a job offer, interview appointment or application. Always verify the vacancy and apply through the employer’s official careers website.
