ADNOC is Abu Dhabi’s national oil and gas company and one of the best-paying employers in the Gulf. That is why its name is used in more fake job offers than almost any other. Before you apply, two facts will save you time and possibly money.
Fact One: “ADNOC Jobs For Freshers” Are For UAE Nationals
ADNOC’s Fresh Graduate Program is stated on its careers site as being for candidates with Emirati citizenship who have completed or are exempt from National Service. It runs for up to two years.
If you are an expatriate fresh graduate, this programme is not open to you. Any site or agent that tells you otherwise has not read ADNOC’s page.
Fact Two: Expatriates Apply As Experienced Professionals
ADNOC says its experienced hiring is open to both UAE National and expatriate talent. Candidates go through several screening stages, which differ by role. ADNOC also says it cannot give individual feedback to unsuccessful applicants because of the number of applications, so silence after applying is normal.
Realistically, these roles ask for years of experience in oil and gas, engineering, HSE, finance or a similar field.
Where To Apply

ADNOC’s Own Scam Checks
These come from ADNOC’s Recruitment Scams page.
| Real ADNOC | Fake |
|---|---|
| Emails come only from @adnoc.ae | Emails from Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail addresses |
| Never asks for money in advance | Asks for fees for a visa, permit or travel |
| Never hires on an online interview or questionnaire alone | “Selected” after a chat or a form |
If you have an offer and are unsure, ADNOC gives an address for checking it: adnocjobscamcheck@adnoc.ae. Do not send your CV there. It is only for reporting or checking suspected scams.
