BSNL advertised 120 Senior Executive Trainee posts for external candidates: 95 in the Telecom Stream and 25 in the Finance Stream. The notice was issued on 29 January 2026 under Advt. No. BSNLCO-11/12(11)/1/2025-RECTT-CO-Part (1).
This recruitment is no longer open. As of 10 October 2026, the official portal says registration is closed, and the listed examination date of 5 July 2026 has passed.
Current Status Of The Notice
The online application period began on 5 February 2026. The portal later gave 30 April 2026 at 10:00 hours as the closing time. Candidates could edit submitted details from 1 May to 8 May 2026.

Accepted Telecom disciplines included Electronics and Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Instrumentation. The Finance qualification had to be from a recognised Indian institute or university.
Only Indian nationals were eligible. The normal age range was 21 to 30 years. The portal listed relaxation of three years for OBC-NCL candidates, five years for SC/ST candidates and ten years for PwD candidates. The maximum age after relaxation was 45 years.
The advertised pay scale was Rs. 24,900 to Rs. 50,500 under the pre-revised IDA E-3 scale. Selected candidates could be posted or transferred anywhere in India or within BSNL’s operational area.
How The Online Application Worked
Candidates had to register through the recruitment portal and enter their personal details. They were then instructed to upload photographs, signatures, qualification certificates and identity documents.
The process also required online payment of the application fee. Applicants were told to save or print the submitted form after completing the process. The research material does not provide the fee amount.

Examination And Service Conditions
Selection used a computer-based multiple-choice examination lasting 180 minutes. For the Telecom Stream, the paper carried 200 marks: 40 aptitude marks and 160 technical marks.
The notification required selected candidates to sign a Rs. 9 lakh service bond and serve BSNL for at least five years. It also stated that probation would last two years, including a 52-week training schedule.
No one should pay an individual for this job or for help with an application. Any official application fee was to be paid only online through the stated recruitment process.
