What The Mechanic Will Do
Maintenance work covers machinery inspections, component repairs, equipment start-up and major overhaul activities. You will also support planned shutdowns and help move equipment to workshops when more extensive repair work is required.
- Carry out routine, preventive and predictive maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
- Complete corrective maintenance by dismantling, assembling and replacing components.
- Conduct tests and monitor equipment performance during start-up.
- Install new equipment and make modifications to systems, machinery and equipment.
- Assist with the start-up and shutdown of critical systems and equipment.
- Participate in annual shutdowns and major equipment turnarounds.
