Dubai Future Foundation is recruiting a Manager Network Infrastructure & Operations in the United Arab Emirates. What You Will Manage

You will lead a small Network and Infrastructure team while coordinating vendors, contracts and technical escalations. The work covers enterprise connectivity, core infrastructure platforms, security, recovery and technology lifecycle activities.

• Lead the design, implementation and operation of enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Manage Cisco switches, wireless access points, controllers, routing and related network services.
• Oversee FortiGate firewalls, network segmentation, secure connectivity and access controls.
• Manage servers, storage, virtualization and associated infrastructure platforms.
• Establish processes for monitoring, alerting, observability and capacity management.
• Own infrastructure backup, recovery, redundancy and disaster-recovery readiness.
• Support cloud, hybrid infrastructure, DevOps and other technology-platform environments.
• Manage infrastructure vendors, contracts, major technical issues and team development.

Technical Experience And Skills

The employer is looking for broad enterprise infrastructure experience rather than expertise in only one area. Your background should cover networking, security, computing platforms, monitoring and operational recovery.

• Enterprise network engineering and hands-on experience with Cisco infrastructure.
• Network security knowledge covering firewalls, segmentation, secure access and connectivity.
• Experience managing servers, storage systems and virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, observability, backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations and technology lifecycle work.
• Experience managing vendors and responding to major incidents and technical escalations.
• Ability to support cloud, hybrid infrastructure and DevOps platforms.
• Leadership experience relevant to developing and managing a network and infrastructure team.

The technology environment includes Cisco, FortiGate, Proxmox VE, ManageEngine, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, OpenVAS, OpenSCAP, CrowdStrike, GitLab, Plastic SCM and ZeroTier, or equivalent platforms. Experience supporting AV, exhibition, venue, entertainment or another technology-intensive environment is advantageous, and a relevant postgraduate degree may also be beneficial.
