Day-to-Day Kitchen Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present dishes according to hotel recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines.
- Support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie with daily operations in the assigned kitchen section.
- Maintain consistent food quality across à la carte service, buffets, banquets and special events.
- Complete mise en place efficiently to support smooth kitchen operations during service.
- Keep workstations, equipment and kitchen areas clean, organized and sanitary in line with HACCP standards and hotel policies.
- Follow the required food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures.
- Receive, store, rotate and monitor food products using FIFO principles.
- Help with stock control, inventory and the ordering of food supplies when required.
