This policy explains how GluJob selects, verifies, writes and updates job-information content.
Source priority
We prioritise:
- official employer career portals and vacancy pages;
- official employer announcements and verified company channels;
- government or clearly identifiable recruitment portals; and
- reputable secondary sources used as leads that are checked against a primary source where reasonably possible.
Anonymous messages, copied vacancy posters and social posts are not treated as sufficient confirmation by themselves when the employer or application destination cannot be reasonably verified.
Accuracy and attribution
We separate confirmed vacancy details from general guidance. We do not invent salaries, benefits, qualifications, deadlines, interview dates, fees or locations. Where information is uncertain, changing or based on a secondary source, the article should say so.
Readers are directed to the official employer page because that page is the final authority. Job requirements vary by role, and a summary cannot replace the complete vacancy description.
Headlines and thumbnails
Headlines should accurately represent the available source and avoid guarantees such as assured selection, guaranteed visa or guaranteed salary. Thumbnails may summarise a vacancy or use an illustrative scene; they should not falsely imply an official advertisement, partnership or exact workplace photograph.
Application links and calls to action
External vacancy buttons should lead to the employer’s official or otherwise verified application page. Internal category or related-article links must be presented as browsing links, not disguised as application buttons.
Automated tools
Automated tools may assist with formatting, translation, grammar, summarisation or drafting. Material facts, source links and potentially misleading claims should receive editorial review before publication. Automation does not replace source verification.
Independence, advertising and conflicts
GluJob does not accept payment from job seekers. Advertising, affiliate relationships or sponsored content must be distinguished from independent editorial content. Payment for promotion does not guarantee employment and should not prevent correction of inaccurate information.
Corrections and expiry
Material errors are corrected when verified. Expired or removed vacancies may be marked, updated or redirected to the employer’s current careers page. Read the Corrections & Verification Policy for the reporting process.
Safety standard
Content must not encourage readers to pay recruitment fees, share OTPs or provide sensitive documents to an unverified person. Suspicious listings should be removed or clearly warned about while reviewed.
