Post Name : Driver
The Garage Driver is responsible for the transportation of vehicles, people, and goods to and from the Group, ensuring that collections and deliveries are done in a safe and efficient manner. Additional duties require the management of minor purchases, Dubai RTA inspections, payments, and minor paperwork.

- Manage deliveries and pick-ups for all departments effectively.
- Verify that any paperwork received and given is relevant, necessary, and in order.
- Safely load transport, and unload vehicles in the company’s enclosed recovery truck.
- Transport other goods, documents, materials, staff, and guests courteously and safely.
- Study routes and driving times to maintain punctual and consistent schedules.
- Manages vehicle inspections at the Dubai RTA facilities, ensuring all paperwork is accurate.
- Ensures the successful delivery of vehicles in bonded warehouses or port facilities, ensuring that access credentials and all paperwork are correct and up-to-date.
- Proactively learns about paperwork required for the most requested inspections/processes.
- Keep up a travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time, and work hours.
- Ensure that vehicles are in an excellent state of repair and presentation, carrying out routine checks on vehicles for any maintenance needed, to avoid failure(s) during day-to-day operations.
- Keep all records, including receipts for fleet vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively, clearly, and openly with the Garage Manager and Head of Classics when having questions of a technical/operational nature on any vehicles transported, or when being asked about delivery/collection schedules.
- Adhere to the Group’s professional guidelines, including, but not limited to dress code, health and safety guidelines, behavior and ethical standards, and internal HR protocols.
- Purchase(s) of spare parts and/or supplies for workshop use.
- Perform one-off errands that the Garage Manager or Chairman’s family will assign from time to time.
Professional experience Tomini shipping careers
- · Valid UAE driving license, with over 5 years of driving experience (minimum of 2 years in UAE).
- · Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Urdu, Arabic, or Tagalog desirable).
- · Prior experience with manual, medium-duty vehicles, such as Mitsubishi Fuso.
- · Intermediary degree of smartphone literacy, especially with the GPS app ‘Waze’.
- · High standards of punctuality, personal grooming, and presentation.
- · Professional, proactive and positive attitude. Ability to prioritize and make logical decisions.
