New federal rules start on January 1, 2027. Earlier tests are not affected.
You still need 75% in both the theory and road tests.
But one dangerous mistake, or the examiner stepping in, can fail you.
Instant fail: hitting a barrier or kerb, or losing control when starting.
Also: gear errors, wrong parking, or ignoring signs and signals.
Bike test: put a foot on the ground while riding and you fail.
Failed? You get a new test date. Each licensing authority sets the wait.
