• Name Of The Post : Buyer 

 

The Buyer I will be responsible to assist in meeting the needs of internal customers on a timely basis and extend the gained expertise to the team and/or subordinates.

The ideal candidate must have working knowledge and experience in a similar role and industry. He must have competencies such as lateral thinking, good decision-making, and self-confidence. Able to research information, analyze data, build independent conclusions, present, and defend recommendations.

 

Candidates must have the following to be shortlisted:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical discipline from a recognized university
• At least 3 years’ experience as Buyer in a large-scale purchasing organization with individual responsibility for spend more than SAR 1 million per year, including international sourcing on a regular basis
• Strong command of spoken and written English language
• Computer literate.  Knowledge of SAP ERP system, particularly MM module will be an advantage
• At least 5 years’ progressive experience in business-oriented organization in the field of purchasing; previous GCC or overseas experience preferred.  Supervisory experience a plus.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional or Certified Purchasing Professional a plus
